This Free Second World War & Communism will make you feel thrilled, shocked, and at times teary-eyed.
This tour will cover the beginning of the Second World War and the Munich Agreement, heroic Czechoslovak resistance, the realities of living under Communism, and the Velvet Revolution.
The tour will start in the Lesser Town at the Winged Lion Memorial and will go through the streets of the Jewish Quarter and Old Town, finishing in the New Town at the Memorial to the Heroes of the Heydrich Terror near the Dancing House. The tour will climax with the visit to the crypt where the brave paratroopers from the Anthropoid operation had their last stand.
Please note:
We only accept people with active reservations!
Latecomers might not be able to join.
This tour does not include a visit to the Jewish Museum (the Old Jewish cemetery and synagogues).
