Prague Easter Markets 2025
Easter is one of the best times to visit Prague! With the sun shining again, the city comes alive as festive markets fill the squares, welcoming both locals and tourists. But which Easter market should you visit in Prague? Let’s explore the best options!
Náměstí Míru Easter market
Old Town Square Easter Market
5.4 - 27.4.2025
As always, the main square in Prague’s historic center will host the largest Easter market in the capital, featuring seasonal delicacies, souvenirs, and traditional Easter products. The Old Town Square market will be open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Wenceslas Square Easter Market
5.4 - 27.4.2025
Stop by the lower part of Wenceslas Square (near the New Yorker store at Můstek) to continue your Easter festivities. The Wenceslas Square market will be open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Náměstí Míru Easter Market
5.4 - 21.4.2025
Our personal favorite Náměstí Míru market will be open daily from 10 AM till 7 PM. This is a great opportunity to mingle with locals, try traditional snacks and hot beverages, and shop for souvenirs.
Mariánské náměstí Easter Markets
4.4 - 27.4.2025
This small market is just a block away from Old Town Square and makes a great pit stop for trdelník or a more traditional Easter pastry—mazanec. Mariánské náměstí Easter market is going to be on daily from 11 AM till 7 PM.
Anděl Easter Markets
12. 4. - 21. 4. 2025
This market is more of a local spot as it is located on a busy intersection and can get quite crowded. However, they usually have the best food and souvenir selection, so we highly recommend dropping by if you are in the Prague 5 district. Anděl Easter market is open daily from 8 AM to 8 PM.
What should you try at the Prague Easter Market?
Classic treats like trdelník and hot wine will be available at the Easter markets, but we recommend trying some traditional Easter specialties. Beránek, a sweet pastry shaped like a lamb to symbolize Jesus’s sacrifice, is a staple on every Czech Easter table and can be found at select markets. You can also look for mazanec, a sweet round bread topped with roasted almonds and raisins. Decorated gingerbread cookies and painted eggs are also popular Easter treats.
As for drinks, some breweries create a special green beer for Easter—a unique seasonal delight worth trying!
